Traditions Yearly Landscape Management Calendar

 

  • March

  • Blowing off Hard Surfaces – Will be performed as needed
  • Weed Control - Post emergent herbicide where needed in landscape beds and hard surface cracks
  • Turf Treatment Liquid Pre & post emergent weed control, nitrogen and potassium fertilizer (March-April)
  • Fertilization- Select plant material will be fertilized with a slow release 14-14-14

     

    April

  • Mowing – Will be performed weekly if needed. When rains result in saturated grounds and damage to the turf is 
    potential, mowing will not be done
  • Edging – Hard surface edging (patios, walkways, driveways) during one visit, plant bed edging done during the 
    alternate visit
  • Blowing off Hard Surfaces – Will be performed during each service visit
  • Weed Control - Post emergent herbicide where needed in landscape beds and hard surface cracks
  • Turf Treatment Liquid Pre & post emergent weed control, nitrogen and potassium fertilizer (March-April)
  • Irrigation Inspection and start-up of all common area irrigation systems

     

    May

  • Mowing – Will be performed weekly if needed. When rains result in saturated grounds and damage to the 
    turf is potential, mowing will not be done
  • Edging – Hard surface edging (patios, walkways, driveways) during one visit, plant bed edging done during 
    the alternate visit
  • Blowing off Hard Surfaces – Will be performed during each service visit
  • Weed Control - Post emergent herbicide where needed in landscape beds and hard surface cracks
  • Pruning – Begin pruning of plant material in the common areas.
  • Turf Treatment - Fertilizer (Granule fertilizer)

     

    June

    potential, mowing will not be done
  • Edging – Hard surface edging (patios, walkways, driveways) during one visit, plant bed edging done 
    during the alternate visit
  • Blowing off Hard Surfaces – Will be performed during each service visit

  • Pruning – Continue pruning of plant material around property

     

    July

  • Weed Control - Post emergent herbicide where needed in landscape beds and hard surface cracks
  • Pruning – Finish pruning of plant material around the property

     

    December  -

  • Leaf Removal - Will be performed as needed
  • Blowing off Hard Surfaces – Will be performed during each service visit as needed
  • Winter pruning- Will start all common area winter pruning

         January -  

  • Leaf Removal - Will be performed as needed.
  • Blowing off Hard Surfaces – Will be performed as needed.
  • Perennial Cutback- Begin cutback of perennials, ornamental grasses, and limbing up trees

     

    February -

  • Leaf Removal - Will be performed as needed.
  • Blowing off Hard Surfaces – Will be performed as needed
  • Perennial Cutback – Finish cutback of perennials, ornamental grasses, and limbing up trees
  • Mulching- Will be scheduled

 

NOTES

 

  • The timing of events on this calendar will change based on all weather conditions.  YN will notify the property management ahead
    of time with any major changes to the scheduling
  • During the service visits all yard debris will be blown off of the hard surfaces before the end of the work day.
  • Weeds will only be hand pulled if they are larger than 6”.All other weeds will be spot sprayed.
  • If any damage occurs to your landscape or home that we may not be aware of please alert us by sending an email to traditions@yardnique.com
  • Dog stations will be serviced weekly. To the best of our ability we plan to do them the same day of the week.
  • Walking paths will be serviced weekly.
  • We do our best to watch for new ant hills, but if you see any please feel free to email us to ensure we have it on our list.
